Celebrating 20 years in business this month....
Dannii started her hairdressing career as an apprentice in 1988 at the same Frodsham hair salon that was to become her own business. Known then as Richards Hair Salon, there has to be some irony that Dannii went on to become Mrs Richards but the salon took on her Christian name when she became proprietor in March 1993 and since Dannii’s has become a familiar sight on Main Street for the last twenty years.
Richard’s existing clientele remained when Dannii took over and many have subsequently become close friends over the years, even inviting her to family occasions and weddings. Several generations of the same family visit the salon, enjoying the personal touch that they appreciate.
Dannii is very grateful to her loyal, hard working staff and between them they provide a great team. Victoria has been part of that team for 17 years and Louise 10 years, so that says something. A year after taking over, Dannii introduced beauty treatments to the salon. Upstairs is a bespoke beauty room, which is nicely furnished, quiet, tranquil and private - perfect to relax and indulge in a bit of ‘me’ time. Incorporating a comfortable seating / coffee area with television this area provides the perfect space if two friends or mum and daughter want to both enjoy a bit of pampering or indeed a waiting area for those ladies husbands who chauffeur them to have their hair done!
Dannii will be celebrating in the Salon on Saturday March 9th with clients and friends followed by a Celebration meal with Victoria and Louise. She would like to thank all of her loyal customers for your support over the last 20 years and a special thank you must go to her parents Paula and Phil and to her husband, Kev for all their support and help and for Kev’s decor skills - thank you!
